This Hamner Springs Kitchen Renovation was an exciting challenge with a tiny original kitchen with 400 deep bench tops, the fridge beside the oven with overhead cabinets was against all rules and regulations of today. The brief was to fit a 900 wide Freestanding Oven and to create a pantry whilst maintaining some open shelving like the original kitchen. To make this room much bigger I used the hallway cupboard which was taking up a large amount of space and put that into the new kitchen. This gave me the opportunity to fit in the 900 wide oven with a corner pot rotating cabinet and fridge space with a large Drawer set Pantry combination. I was also able to replicate the open shelving by turning outwards towards the living room with wooden shelving to feature the shelving. We were also able to add a dishwasher, and a larger island for seating under. We added some floating shelving around the room and some sliding windows for the summertime. The owners where thrilled with the large work space areas achieved in this design especially as they love to cook for their family & friends. The result a light, bright modern batch style kitchen.
