Queenstown New Build

This is a large 4 bedroom Home. The brief was for a layout to include the maximum sun from morning to night. With the family bedrooms getting the morning sun, then the kitchen dinning & living room getting all day sun as this site was facing North so it got the East & West sun all year round to the separate Master wing with the final sun as well as the formal lounge. The glass was Argon gas light Blue glass which retains heat without the UV rays. Great indoor outdoor flow through large opening doors off all main living & master bedroom. Master bedroom had a glass end on the shower to feed light into the large en suite bathroom and walk through wardrobe. This Master section could be closed off from the rest of the family spaces with enough room for its own seating area or the adults. An extra large double garage included the built in laundry area and lead through to the guest room with separate bathroom with bar area for fridge & jug etc. This area also had a large sliding door with a small area for sitting out on a summers evening. The hallways had a 5 metre height with light feed on one wall with high windows, and a wonderful high studded living & dining area with a window seat with storage below which also go all day sun. The larger depth Island was designed for extra under cabinet space from the living room side and was in Engineered stone with a Back Ecogranit 1 & 1/2 Sink & drainer. The back Bench is Stainless with a 900 wide Hob with 6 burner gas options and 2 Induction options. A Larder Pantry with plenty of overhead cabinet storage with no handles had a streamlined simplistic effect. A lighting system behind the overhead cabinets added to the area for evening cooking or ambient light. A wonderful entertaining space was achieved here.
