Salisbury Street Apartments Christchurch
This was a first time Developer but he knew what he wanted from this project. It was originally to have 3 identical apartments however with the tight council rules that where in place at this time after the Earthquakes and under the then New Urban Design, this was not going to be achievable so we had to work out how to make 3 apartments fit onto this small 500 sqm site in the C.B.D.
To achieve this we had to work alongside council and we came up with 3 apartments that where able to cross over with tenancy walls and floors. Each apartment a garage 1 single, 1 with a large laundry area and storage and the other a double. They are all with internal access. Each unit has a minimum of 2-3 Queen size plus bedrooms 2 with 2 en-suite and large family bathrooms along with an open plan kitchen, dining and living space. All apartments have an upstairs bathroom or toilet and a large covered over balcony for Maximum sun and views. From the street it looks like only 2 apartments with the 3rd set across the entire back section, being the largest with full upstairs living and bedrooms below. The entire property is secure making it fantastic for lock and leave. The gardens are compact but easy care with plenty of sun on all properties. The new owners love the size of all the spaces along with the city location.
