Located within the town of West Mersea, Mersea Island, Essex this new build house is located back from and within walking distance of the seafront. Angela and Howard’s new house was designed over two floors and constructed using Structural Insulated Panels from Kingspan TEK.

A unique and stunning feature of the house is the location of the living rooms. The property has living rooms to both the ground and first floor separated by a stunning staircase. The first floor living room benefits from great views, a vaulted ceiling with a series of rooflights allowing natural light to stream in. This space also leads out onto a first floor terrace through a set of large sliding doors.

The external appearance of the house is a mixture of white render and thermowood cladding, contrasted by a grey brick surround and pillars. Dark grey aluminum windows match the metal roof and architectural trim detail. A single storey garage is located to the rear of the plot with access underneath the overhanging master bedroom.
