This outdoor kitchen was part of a larger project comprising a kitchen with a study nook, as well as a laundry and sewing room.
The Dekton benchtop was selected, as it is a type of porcelain benchtop, which are the only types of benchtops generally warrantied for outdoor use. The dark grey was a practical choice too, to minimise the constant need for cleaning of the surfaces. Clean lines and simple design also minimises the impact of the kitchen on the space. The addition of a sink and rangehood add to the functionality of the design.
