Bronte House
This alterations and additions maintained the original Californian bungalow for housing bedrooms and bathrooms, concealing a contemporary two-storey addition for living areas and master bedroom behind, which open onto the garden and pool. A new entrance was created in a large glazed double height space, at the junction between the old and new. The new accommodation is open and transparent to take advantage of the views and aspect of the site, and provides generous and open spaces that allow for a more relaxed and informal home-life.
