This project has transformed a two bedroom semi-detached dwelling into a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with an innovative and light-filled extension to the rear and into the existing roof space. The original room at the front with bay window has been kept as master bedroom and the second bedroom has been converted to a bathroom, laundry and walk-in robe. Upstairs the roof was carefully manipulated to provide maximum ceiling height, light and ventilation, housing two new double bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom. The open plan living at ground floor takes advantage of the additional volume with high level glazing, a 4 metre high ceiling over the kitchen, tapering to single-storey where it meets the rear-courtyard.
