The brief was to update the bathroom to become a space of luxury, the clients were after a ‘transitional’ design, a blend between traditional and modern. Minimal wall tiling height was requested to add character using a feature paint colour above tiling. Easy cleaning fixtures and fittings and large format tiles were a must have as their original small decorative tiles were horrible to keep clean.

The colour palate for the Main bathroom was subtlety different using warm greys. The vanity benchtop was in 20mm Ceasarstone Raven stone, this was paired up with Carrara Venato 1200x600mm polished porcelain tiles.

Tapware and fittings fused soft round edges with a slender profile providing an beautiful, elegant appearance.

THE RESULT

A custom vanity unit in 2Pac white gloss provided stylish storage. The plumbing was altered to allow for a wall hung vanity creating a larger sense of space.

Special bathroom details that were incorporated were a shower niche, strip grate and smart grate with tile inserts, Pop-up Clipsal power points from wall, Clipsal Saturn Series switch plate, heated towel bars & Linear 3 in 1 Heat lamp unit.
