The rear extension of this Californian Bungalow provides a home away from home for the busy professional clients. The extension, constructed in the 1980's, was in need of a complete overhaul.
Internal walls were removed and the interior space was totally reconfigured to suit the clients needs. An open plan entertainers kitchen, large dreamy and bright bathroom, separate powder room and master bedroom provided the new perfect backdrop to explore the clients favourite colours.
Minimal finishes and a streamlined design enabled the use of some very vibrant feature colours. The joinery was designed so that mess and day to day items could be stored away and hidden from sight and then easily accessed when needed.
In the kitchen the backlit feature panel splashback and bar front spring out from the calming joinery to create striking impact. While in the bathroom the calming floor and wall colours are broken up by the effervescent joinery hue.
The end result is a tropical paradise the clients can enjoy for years to come!
