Large Kitchen Design of the Year

This 1980’s built split level solid brick and stud wall home was typical to that of its era, it comprised of many small inefficient rooms. The kitchen and living areas were split across four separate rooms and two separate levels with multiple entrances. The residents, who are repeat clients, are a professional couple who have three soon to be teenage sons. The home is often used for entertaining family and friends and the owners sought a new design to enhance their lifestyles. The space in which the home owners lived between was awkward, dark, out dated and needed a complete overhaul. Having lived in the home for over five years the clients were ready for a complete redesign to suit their lifestyle now and into the future.
The end result is a large streamlined and modern kitchen sympathetic to the homes original features and style. It enables the home owners to live within the space effortlessly, provides ample cooking and preparation space, conceals as much as possible and eliminates the need for any artificial light sources during the day. The new space is a testament to a brilliant design and renovation!
