White Kitchen Transformation
The homeowners had been living with the dark and gloomy 1970's kitchen for far too long. The space was in need of a major overhaul so a modern Hamptons-style meets chic country kitchen was designed. The design enhances the Californian bungalow and sits pride of place within the open plan living area. The new kitchen provides thoughtful storage solutions and increased workspace areas. The overall design includes a buffet unit which perectly integrates the kitchen with the living and dining area. A focal point was created with the introduction of a traditional mantle above the cooker and includes display cupboards with undercabinet lighting. The refurbishment also included new flooring throughout and new windows and doors leading out to the beautifully manicured gardens.
The increased storage and workspace makes for a more interactive kitchen that had now become the meeting point within the space.
