Contemporary, tasteful and bold, the design response for this project centres on the procession of entry into the home from the street level. Theatrically drawing you in, the architecture pulls you through a series of raw, brutal concrete look boxes into a light filled, warm family home. Warm, rich finishes internally give way to stepped levels, voids and alternating ceiling heights, giving the architecture a sense of playfulness. Despite this playfulness, the design is highly considered and somewhat mature in its relationship to the surrounding context. The architectural design team were thrilled collaborate with the interior design team to thoughtfully complete the home.
