Designed by Yael Kurlansky, who has finally met her match!
Open minded and amazing trust, made way for a journey of creativity, exploring the boundaries of the non-conformist.
The combination of Jarrah, concrete stainless steel and glass which is flanked by the generous use of fine charcoal ceramic ribbed cladding adding warmth and interest to the ambiance that emanates through the day into the night.
Specific art pieces and rugs have been placed, so they are showcased strategically throughout the home as you journey through its unravelling wonder.
The kitchen scullery and Laundry is amazing. No words could describe the level of function sophistication and detail implemented. It’s here the clients’ needs have been exploited and where their passion explodes.
The study is a work of art. The intense fit out is immaculately designed and executed, showcasing various artworks and housing a spectacular library of books. The aspects to the courtyard are enlightening making this space peaceful and inspirational.
The Dressing room and Ensuite are a true testament to lateral thinking and trust, emanating in a space of extraordinaire. It’s here that storage is exploited.
Being single story, there was scope to have high ceilings, these have been used to create volume and feature gable ceilings to terrace and lounge. There is storage with a nifty pull down ladder to access the loft space above the house.
The client’s expectations have been surpassed in this functional and strikingly different abode!
