This home was bought by the clients and renovated out for a number of years. Because the home was tenanted; we did the Design Discovery Meeting, planning and alteration decisions through photos and measurements only!

The brief for this job was an elegant feel while still being functional for families. The clients had different tastes and the design needed to be a reflection of the two.

The main challenge of this job was the fast 3 month turn around from when the renters moved out to when the clients wanted to move in. So we needed to have all designs and decisions completed BEFORE the tenants moved out and we started work - meaning all the planning and creation was done prior to work starting on the renovation.

Once we started work, we found out the roof leaked and had no gutters, as well as seeing the tennis court needed to be refurbished.

Structurally, the renovation changes amounted to less than $20,000 of work. The majority of the budget was spent on furniture and finishes, all of the furniture is custom designed and made by ARDH.
