Lileura House is the classic 'down-sizer' house designed and built for a retired couple, featuring single level living with basement and internal lift. Although our clients sought a contemporary house, their brief was to create an inviting and warm feeling throughout their new home. We achieved this with a palette of soft greys, dark timber cabinetry & dark floors throughout. This simple, timeless contemporary style created the perfect backdrop for their collection of curious and paintings.
Our clients were keen to ensure every aspect of the project, from detailing of interior joinery to furniture selection, was in harmony with the overall style of the house and so they also retired their old furnishings and started fresh. By engaging our team early in the design process, not only were we able to work cohesively alongside Lowe Constructions, the building designer & builder to create a well resolved outcome, we created a beautifully furnished home ready for retirement living.
