South Yarra Two
Featuring a bespoke bar room, including beer on tap, temperature controlled wine fridges and bench height windows opening to the courtyard, this double fronted Victorian house was designed for entertaining.
Although a two story wing was added to the rear of this heritage home, in order to maximise the floor plan one of the existing front formal rooms was converted into a bathroom. This was a perfect opportunity to create a unique and luxurious bathroom by making a feature of the the existing marble fireplace.
In the kitchen sleek joinery design ensured that all appliances were hidden behind cabinetry. All joinery throughout this project was designed and detailed by the team at Austin Design, then entrusted to Precision Cabinets to build and install, with quality finishes achieved throughout. Amazing reclaimed timber flooring was sourced from Harper & Sandilands to add warmth and character throughout.
