Crafers Stone Project
Water bubbling and tumbling over stone in the nearby creek was the inspiration for the architectural design of this quaint new stone house in Crafers, Adelaide Hills. The brief was for a couple to be able to live on one level, leaving attic rooms available for visiting guests and family. The result is a ground floor layout consisting of a master bedroom, bathroom, study/library, kitchen off a living and dining area, large light filled conservatory to the north and a large laundry/craft room.
Two bedrooms and bathroom are in the attic space. A basement level contains double garage and storage. This new stone build features solid masonry internal walls, Colourbond roof and timber windows throughout.
