Springfield Stone Manor Project
The brief for this new build in metropolitan Adelaide was all about creating drama. The stone was specifically selected from a quarry in Macclesfield, Adelaide Hills for its eerie pink and purple hues and the slate roof plays nicely with these tones.
Along with a sense of the drama, this client called for a timeless design to suit their very specific eclectic lifestyle. Featuring a just a hint of French influence, this home boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms plus powder room, study, formal sitting, formal dining with Butler’s kitchen, large kitchen with informal living/eating area, double garage, storeroom, entrance hall that features view through three stories up to a glass roofed tower.
Worth noting that this beautiful house was constructed over 15 years ago and is a fabulous display of timelessness of the Hurren Architectural design.
