A c1970's project style home on the Bay waterfront had deteriorated due to the severe marine environment. Additionally traffic noise had increased substantially to the point where the external balcony was untenable.
It was given a transformation by re- cladding, erecting a new splayed steel armature; the installation of double glazed windows in new sashes; new areas of render and solar toned glazing. In doing so the entry approach was altered and the interior space of the formal living areas enlarged, the kitchen- stair spaces re- worked and new PVs were added to the roofscape.
