Bought as an investment property by former tenants, the federation era terrace is located just off Blackwattle Bay in a heritage conservation area. A long narrow gutted south facing terrace required total re-modelling. The challenge was to flood the interior with natural light, control and improve ventilation, re-instate sound party walls, and create a simple logical flow of rooms leading to a landscaped courtyard with indigenous plantings and re-cycled sandstone.
