Customer had an addition and removed the wall between the addition and kitchen. To improve traffic flow, we recommended her removing the wall by the basement door also. One of the biggest challenges to the layout was that she wanted to have a clear line of sight from the front door all the way through to the back of the house. This was difficult because of the "lump" required for head-room in the basement stairway. See photos to understand more.
