We took the previously remodeled kitchen and totally revamped the layout. The kitchen had a poorly placed window and a peninsula that cut up the space in an unfortunate way. This new layout has an island that follows the shape of the room. Now several cooks can work in the space and not be bumping into each other.

We removed a narrow window that was too low and replaced it with this large bay window. The beautiful back yard now feels like it's part of the kitchen.

Glass tiles and the dark blue-grey walls blend beautifully with the steel grey granite. This hood is ducted to the outside. The cabinets to the right of the hood are actually shorter than they appear to accommodate the necessary duct-work.

These pantries hide loads of storage. There really is a cabinet over the refrigerator and it is 24" deep. The handles were left off intentionally. In this view, you can see the right pantry is only 12" deep.

The long island is backed with a wainscot panel. The toekick is recessed to make a comfortable work area on both sides of the island.
