By moving the sink into the peninsula, there's plenty of work space between the stove and sink. Having the dishwasher on the end keeps it out of the way of other cooks in the kitchen.

The refrigerator is full-depth, but the side panel hides the side of the refrigerator from view. The pantry on the left actually has a pipe-chase cut out of it by the factory. This allowed us to make it the full-width of the space.
