I regret to state that my experience with Robert Galvin has been deeply disappointing and has prompted me to leave this review. Despite the fact that nearly two years have passed since he completed work on our garden, Mr. Galvin has failed to fulfill his obligations to return for necessary repairs. The pool crack, which he was aware of, has continued to worsen and is now a significant issue as we approach the summer season. Mr. Galvin's conduct, including his failure to address ongoing concerns despite repeated promises to do so, has raised serious concerns. To date, six months have passed since he committed to attending to these repairs, yet no action has been taken. Furthermore, it is apparent that he frequently employs labor sourced from platforms such as Gumtree, and we have had to hire a new landscaper to replace substandard irrigation systems and rectify other issues. The materials and products used were of poor quality, which has further compounded the problem. I am prepared to escalate this matter to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to seek redress for the deficiencies in service and the ongoing issues with the work performed. Based on my experience, I have serious doubts about the authenticity of any positive reviews for Mr. Galvin, as I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism in my dealings with him. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative service providers to avoid the frustrations and financial burden I have experienced.
