If we could put Six Stars we would!! We have just had a deck replaced by Canberra Decks and from the moment we met Leigh and his Foreman Damir we had a really positive vibe and a real feeling that we were talking to professionals. They listened carefully to our requirements and made careful and considered comments and suggestions which made us feel we were not just customers but part of the team. When Damir told us what day and time his team would turn up they turned up not at 7.00 am on a cold Canberra morning they turned up at 6.45 am and did this every day until the job was done. A young team of professionals with a great attitude and a great work ethic. We know because we were here every day and saw their work first hand. Their painter was like the rest of the team polite and professional and did a great job. In this day and age it is very hard to get tradespeople of this calibre and it was obvious that Leigh Shannon and Damir have picked and trained an excellent team of young professionals. Canberra Decks has just delivered an absolutely stunning Millboard composite deck with gable roof that has transformed our outdoor space—we couldn’t be more thrilled! Leigh elevated our architect’s plans with his considerable expertise in deck design and construction, resulting in a significally improved outcome. Building foreman Damir and his exceptionally skilled crew were true perfectionists, crafting every detail with precision and care. We were impressed with daily site clean-ups, no disruptive noise or language, and thoughtful construction that preserved our cherished green vegetation wall intact—enhancing the deck’s magical, nature-immersed beauty without a single casualty. An innovative solution to a spot with an awkward & potentially dangerous step. A series of small decks, creating low steps within an acceptable footprint, compared with the size of a ramp that would have been required to achieve a moderate slope. The top deck outside the entrance door will accommodate a chair comfortably. Attractive look to the finished job. Keen & courteous staff. I would recommend asking them for a design & quote for your project. Be mindful that whether you like the solution offered may depend on how well you are able to convey the idea of the result you are seeking.

A wonderful business run efficiently by Leigh and Shannon; their tradesmen are fantastic with an excellent foreman. While replacing my shadecloth 'roof' with solarspan panels, their foreman kept me in the loop, asking questions to confirm tasks and informing me along the way what was going to happen on each day and also how to take care of the solarspan panels.
