Hi Joel, Looks like a battleaxe block, privacy def an issue - if money isn't a problem, I would take down the back fence as well, put a brick fence all the way around with an automatic sliding gate. This would give you extra entertaining space out the front as well. If you have a dog, it could patrol all the way around your home. If you don't like the look of brick on the inside you could render it. Another alt is building the fence out of fence panels, they look like rendered brick, but without the labour & price tag. Wuff how horrible x2 burglaries, any thoughts on how to secure a house or do you think if someone wants in they'll find a way no matter what?

I love the gates you’ve found Dave. Painted white, they will be perfect. You are probably struggling to find gates for further down the driveway because typically those houses didn’t have them. The driveway led straight down to the garage located at the back. If you need gates for security then I’d suggest something that echoes the front gates. Something that will keep the kids and dogs contained but won’t visually interrupt the wonderful frontage. You don’t want to cut off the cascading look of the triple frontage as it moves deeper into your block.
