Comments (12)chookchook2, thank you, I was having an anxiety attack thinking I was about to make a horrible mistake both visually and financially, my builders who were hanging the doors said they were going against everything by hanging them with the shorter panels at the top, (upside down) M.M didn't want to get involved and frankly couldn't see a difference? neither could my daughter? I have an older Queenslander home and the doors were already being cut down to a non standard size, I thought this made them more obvious, like hobbits were living here? I had to post on FB to get another opinion as well because he was going to charge me by the hour and the cost of 3 new doors, but he managed to flip them over and trim them again to fit. I am so glad I stayed to keep an eye on things, otherwise right now I would be terribly disappointed. I still can't upload the finished pics?...See MoreUrgent interior help needed please!
Comments (38)We've just installed roller blinds. We're on acreage so privacy is not an issue. I suspect the see-through blinds will be down most of the time but because they're almost transparent they don't block the light....See MoreURGENT Help on 2nd kitchen sink.
Comments (3)While you have a lovely new kitchen it is not particularly large with the amount of bench space. The position you have suggested is very prominent. I think the position is going to be more of a nuisance and an eyesore. If your kitchen had twice the amount of bench space I would say yes, but I would rather have a more flexible bench area, than a second sink in a kitchen the size of yours. If you ever have two people working in the kitchen your second sink will limit their work area options. Save your money and put it towards a plumbed fridge with a cold water dispenser.
