Lets start at the start -- you say it is a small place , and you have the worlds second largest dining table haha ! Plus I can see approx where the kitcvhen is , but it looks like cupboards and a sink and a dishwasher and appliances along the other side of the dining room ?

Anyway , back to the question -- I actually think the table and that curved top mirror are the 2 'stars' -- the chairs look comfy , but oldfashioned and dated ; the rest looks like black and white and glossy and boring .

I reckon pick a favourite colour , and do the chairs ( or buy new ones ) and a few features in the kitchen and maybe pottery or vases on the left etc , in that strong blue or red or yellow or green ort whatever you've picked .

That table is a wonderful table with lots of interest. The chairs look old and worn. Keep the table and get new chairs. If you have room for such a wonderfully big table, I don’t think your home is small. Keep the wood. Don’t change it to anything shiny and white. The current shiny/glossy surfaces in the room are enough.

Love the table, what size is it ?
Chairs don’t look in bad condition but think you should change them for a lighter colour as they don’t have much contrast against the rug(or maybe cheaper to change rug), I’d definitely put some kind of window dressing up and change out the 3 flower vases on table for something more modern.
