I like the curtains and the dramatically oversized plant in the corner. The size, style, and simplicity of the table and the above pendant lighting work together very well. The stairs are designed in a dramatic and stylish silhouette. Also, the steel themes throughout are subtle but unifying.

The way that the darker portions add weight and contrast is a really nice way to keep the room from feeling too airy.

I'm not so into the majority of this picture but the five single, white roses in thin vases arranged symmetrically and serving as the only real ornamentation is very chic, minimal, and tasteful.

Beautiful use of a concrete wall. The flush fireplace is so modern and looks fantastic. The placement of the TV sort of overcomes the fireplace-television faux pas as well (it might be the cluster of fireplace and television near the bottom and the bare wall up top?).

Very dramatic colour scheme. Well done living room but the wall panels may be a little too much; they take away from the minimal aesthetic of the space. The island-table is an interesting idea and a bar-height table suits the space well. The large windows and distinctly urban views add to the luxurious, nocturnal feel.

The half-level rise between the living room and dining room gives the rooms a sense of separation without ruining the open concept. The glass panels on the space above also connect it to the lower levels well.

This is a nice little area for writing or other small tasks. It's nice that its kept so clutter free and doesn't have a computer.

This is a great entry way! It's modern and it doesn't feel like a small, boring room for taking your shoes off. It feels like just a part of the house. Allows for space to hang coats and keep that ugly mess from the rest of the house without making the house feel closed off.

This is the Target Bookshelf by Arketipo. I think it works really well and serves as a very interesting accent for a living room. The only problem is that the loud colours of the spines of many books could ruin it's modern charm. I think maybe it would actually be better suited to a small wall in an open hallway section or something.

This would be super distracting from the TV but on a different wall, that would otherwise be plain, the backlit squares is a really tasteful, modern, and interesting touch.

Overall, this isn't great. It is more transitional than modern but the stacked bricks, rather than the traditional brick pattern, is a neat effect. Makes it feel more modern.
