All Things Pest Control

We had All Things Pest Control around to install our Termite barrier to our freshly acquired home in September 2022. From quote through to installation was very easy. We had 4 quotes from companies (2 of which seemed very haphazard and unprofessional). All Things Pest Control was very reasonable and their service was wonderful. What really set them apart was the time they took to thoroughly answer all our questions and inform us what exactly we were paying for. Initially they were quoting on things that other companies hadn't - Joins in the concrete downstairs. This had been overlooked by 2 companies. They explained the termites can enter from under the stab, up these joins and into the walls that had been added later on in our house. We took the time to look into this further and found 2 of the other quotes would not have given us a Termite Barrier to Australian Standards (despite telling us they would!). All Things Pest Control showed up when they said they would and followed up with us to address any queries we had. Kind, courteous and the type of service we've almost forgotten is achievable in Mackay. 3 of them attended the installation and got it done in no time. We really appreciated this as my wife took our dogs away for the morning so they wouldn't annoy them with the barking. Josh was happy to explain the process while I watched and I learnt a lot that day about termite protection. The fact that they took the time to hole punch the vinyl, set that piece aside, drill and inject, mortar the holes and reglue the hole punched vinyl really shows the pride they take in their work. The other companies just offered ugly grey plugs or mortar. When asked if we would be interested in provided some feedback we didn't hesitate. All Things Pest Control is a great local Mackay company my wife and I are very pleased to recommend to all of our friends and family.

Excellent workmanship and customer service. Renovating our old Queenslandér and required termite protection to the new extension. We were worried about existing plumbing being damaged but the guys got the job done and worked with our builder with ease. This was a very last minute job on our behalf with lots of mucking around cutting concrete. All Things Pest Control accommodated us with no complaints. Office staff were friendly and Josh is a very genuine bloke. Highly recommend

We found termites in our backyard a few years after purchasing our property and didn't think much of it until we discovered some in a skirting board in the bathroom. We had no idea about termites having come from Tasmania we were rather naive that it wouldn't happen as the home was built with treated timber and rendered brick. We had several quotes from local pest control companies and we picked this one purely on their service, knowledge and price. They came out the day we called and removed the termites with a spray which killed them (cost about $150) and also inspected the entire home and yard ($230). We received the report that night which pointed out several areas in our home we needed to look at regarding wood rot and some things that could attract termites. As well as some mould on our facia boards which had rotted away under the paint we hadn't noticed. They explained our best options on what to do next regarding the termites. (The spray wouldn't stop new termites from coming back). We opted to install a ' Termite Management System ' around our home after a thorough conversation with the company as it was more suited to our home than baits or just waiting for them to come back. It will protect our home for 8 years. We were booked with-in the week. My husband and I were very impressed. Their office staff was very friendly and kept me in the loop regarding the entire process. They turned up at 6am and began trenching around our home and drilling in the concrete. It was a very hot day but both of them got on with the work with no complaints (or lunch!). After about 8 hours they had finished the work, raked up all the grass and hosed all the walls clean as well as put the soil back around the house and re grouted the concrete holes so it really didn't look like anything had happened besides the grass missing where the trench was dug. They answered all of my questions and were a lovely trade to have ensuring everything was clean and tidy before heading off to no doubt retreat to the aircon! The following day we received our certificate as we had paid that morning. We are very pleased with the service this company provided for us and will certainly use them again for any other pest problems we might have.
