Over the course of the project - which included the entirety of the Covid 19 lockdowns in Melbourne - Penny maintained a professional, friendly, thoughtful approach to ensure that the process was as stress-free as possible. She is an excellent communicator and at all stages we understood her plan and what the next steps entailed. If a problem arose, Penny presented us with a range of solutions and she handled any disruptions calmly. Penny has helped us with a substantial renovation of a heritage home in Melbourne's inner west. From the very first consultation we have felt in very good hands. She produced a concept design which delighted and surprised us with what could be achieved on our very small site. Penny smoothly navigated the planning, design and tender process and has made the whole renovation process very easy for us - especially as we both work full time and do not always have strong or clear ideas about what we wanted! We were particularly impressed with her focus from the very first step on what could be achieved within the planning constraints. We moved into our new home in mid-2018 and have been delighted with the result. The build has been very well managed and we can certainly say that the final house exceeded our expectations. It is light, spacious and comfortable. I would happily recommend Penny to anyone looking to do a renovation without any of the stress!
