We worked with Mosmo Living from start to finish on transforming our 1880s stone house from a dark, dysfunctional, rabbit warren, into a modern, light filled, open plan living space, while still being sensitive to the heritage of the house. Melissa listened to our brief and used her skills and experience in design to shape our ideas into reality while giving us a much needed push to step out of our comfort zones. We are truly happy with the results. Rowan led the build and having worked with a few builders, we found him the most easy to get along with. He was always responsive to our requests and concerns and inevitable variations as ideas develop. It felt like he was working with us rather than against (our experience with some other builders!). Rowan gave us timeframes that were achieved, even when we were skeptical to begin with, and provided a high level of communication. We would certainly recommend Mosmo Living to anyone looking to improve their home.

We had Mosmo upgrade our kitchen in mid-2019. Ours is a bungalow with all the uneven walls and floors and interesting surprises behind the old cabinetry. Throughout the project, Mosmo were upfront about the design, materials, timing and cost. They were very professional in their communication and they way they dealt with us and the people they managed. They also worked well with our real estate agent and their building / fixup team and were flexible in handling changes along the way such as repairs to flooring and kitchen walls that were hidden behind old cupboards. The end result looks fantastic and has been working really well for us for the last 18 months. Highly recommended!

Mosmo helped us put in an ensuite, a large new family bathroom, a walk in robe, and update/upgrade the entire front of our house (paint, lighting, fittings etc). Rowan and Melissa are a terrific team. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and went above and beyond what we expected. We get a lot of compliments about our new spaces and always pass on Mosmo's details, with great confidence.

Rowan and Melissa made the process of creating our '20-year house' easy and stress-free. We'd used Mosmo Living before, and had no hesitation engaging them again this time around. Rowan and the Mosmo Living team renovated my entire cottage, put in a new kitchen and bathroom and oversaw the landscaping of the whole property. We are so glad we came across Melissa and engaged her services for window design & render colouring which then lead to kitchen, ensuite and laundry design plans plus options for furniture and art work. We were going to have a white kitchen but with a leap of faith we ended up with a stunning kitchen, ensuite, amazing European laundry and so much more which everyone who views cannot believe the incredible transformation. We contacted Melissa for the minimum 3 hours service but quickly extended to a full consultancy, design drawings and working with an excellent cabinet marker which she recommended. Her colour matching and attention to detail, even picking up a potential flaw off our previously designed floor plan. We only wish we’d discovered Melissa earlier. To have many of the local neighbourhood walk past and tell us how they have watched and seen such an incredible transformation to our old 70’s home. It’s an absolute tribute to her colour choices and attention to detail. Even now after a few months back home we find we still call on her for advice and bits and pieces of furniture of which she is always happy to oblige. Her service is exceptional value and we have been advised it has paid for itself 3 fold. It is important to note how respectful Melissa was of our limited furniture budget. We would highly recommend Melissa.

Mel listened to our needs and tastes, and then led us through layouts, cabinetry designs, colour choices, bathroom ware choices and sourcing, and furniture selection. With the guidence of the Mosmo team, our end result is that we have doubled the value of of our home and we now have beautifully designed and practical useable spaces. Mosmo Living organised our project from start to finish. Melissa designed our project and kept within our budget. She had innovative ideas that turned our ho hum bathroom and Laundry into wonderful designer spaces. Upon meeting Melissa and viewing one of her recently renovated spaces there was not a doubt in my mind that I had found the Interior Architect I had been searching for. She has an exceptional eye for detail in blending historical charm with modern architecture and interior design. As a first time renovator I was lacking confidence and knowledge. I had an end result in my mind but didn't know where to start. Melissa took me through every step of the process.....and I mean every step! From designing a floor plan, outsourcing an architect, tendering for a builder and most importantly keeping within a budget. I chose for Melissa herself to design all of my cabinetry, kitchen, bathrooms and choose all finishes, from floors and tiles through to the internal colour scheme and light fittings. The result was a highly functional, seamless space that is visually everything I had hoped. I would highly recommend Melissa and the team at Mosmo Living to bring any quality residential or commercial build or renovation to life. The entire project was on budget, on time and handled with the utmost professionalism and client care. The added value to my home has far exceeded the cost of the project and I look very forward to working with them again in the not too distant future.
