32 Degrees Building are the award winning specialists in first floor additions, ground floor extensions, large scale renovations and custom built new homes. Operating since 2011, 32 Degrees Building has fast become the household name when it comes to building a second storey addition or extension on your home. We put it down to our responsiveness to clients, the quality of the work we deliver, and the team we have on hand to help before, during and after the build. Company director Alistair recognises that altering an existing home requires a specialised approach and that our clients need a high quality, personalised and professional design and construction service specific to this need and this philosophy has been adopted and expanded by Alistair and his team.

Professional Information

Over the past two years, we have tripled our team members onsite and in the office as we continuously grow to achieve our vision of becoming the industry market leader. With regular meetings and continuous training held for our team we are kept informed and up to date with the current building industry standards and expectations as well as building trends and construction safety. We actively train our team in all aspects of carpentry, construction, customer service and business management to further develop and enhance their skills to complete their trade. We wholly support further education and encourage our apprentices and tradespeople to complete their Certificate IV in Building and Construction so they too can obtain their Builders Licence and make their mark as a skilled tradesperson in the industry

One star for communication and one star for speed. However, the quality and care of the build were appalling. Our garden was left in a terrible state, and our pavers were completely broken. Additionally, the engineers and certifiers engaged did not provide us with a clear understanding of what was required from start to finish. We are now facing challenges obtaining the Occupation Certificate (OC) because we need to comply with new stormwater regulations, which will cost us significantly more. This critical information should have been communicated to us upfront by 32 Degrees, the engineer, or the certifier, but it wasn’t. The lack of transparency and communication has been shocking and deeply disappointing. This entire process has been frustrating, and we feel completely let down by 32 degrees.

32 added a stunning second story to the rear of our cosy Annandale home on time and budget with results that can only be said are five star. Through difficult weather, challenging space constraints and huge time pressure, the team delivered every step of the way with fantastic support from the admin team everyday. Happy to recommend this team any day.

We had such a great experience with 32 Degrees. They were very professional and transparent in all their dealings with us. We found them to be very reliable and they delivered on time. We are very impressed with the quality of the work done and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to add a second story to their existing home.
