Hello! As the founder of Bearcanvas Interiors, I have spent more than 29 years immersed in design projects across various platforms. Through my experience, I've learned that behavioral design follows functional design. The way we live shapes the briefs for the design and makeovers of homeowners and renters who dream of having a beautiful space to work, live, and play. At Bearcanvas Interiors, we strive to create timeless, beautiful spaces. By considering the family’s personality, likes and dislikes, and daily routines, I develop concepts to ensure the home is not only aesthetically pleasing but above all else, comfortable and functional . Kirsty very quickly developed an amazing design solution for our large ensuite bathroom space that was originally built in the 90s. The tiling, cabinetry and fitting choices were exceptional and blended in perfectly with the existing style of our house. The family bathroom and powder room were also rebuilt with the same design features and a great choice of wallpaper was incorporated into the powder room. We would highly recommend engaging Bearcanvas Interiors for a bathroom renovation.

Organisation Dynamics

Kirsty worked with our team for a Boutique office fitout to create an "Industrial Luxe" feel. Great advice, eye for detail, supported the entire process so it went smoothly and pragmatically worked through all the little issues. Kirsty has done an amazing job transforming our home into a lovely sanctuary for our family. We could not be more happy with the changes Kirsty made to our floor plans, the selection of great quality fixtures, and the beautiful colour palette selections. Kirsty recreated our kitchen, living/dining/family rooms, laundry, bathrooms and master bedroom and it is hard to pick our favourite room. Kirsty came forward with some fantastic ideas that completely flipped our kitchen and living areas into a different dynamic that works so well for us. We love just being at home now! We could not be more thrilled with the finished product after Kirsty completely redesigned our once quite neglected upstairs rumpus room into a stylish and functional study and lounge area. Every detail was considered from flooring, window furnishings, paint colour, lighting, cabinetry, furniture and even decorative effects to provide a transformed space that everyone now wants to spend time in!

I contacted Kirsty after spotting some of her previous projects on Houzz. It was our first ever renovation and she made the whole thing seamless. She designed a stunning ensuite for us, exceeding our expectations with our design brief and advocating for the finished product to be flawless where I might have chickened out on asking tradespeople to return.
