Daryl Wark's advice on redecorating our beach house at New Brighton was invaluable. He understood what we were trying to achieve, and inspired us with his ideas. Sometimes, I really wasn't sure if it would 'work', but I trusted him and we are so happy with the result. He worked around our tight budget, mixing lower cost items with higher value pieces. He suggested we paint our exterior brick work, I thought he was crazy, but it was the right call. We love it, and we always get the 'WOW' comments from friends and visitors. He truly is one of the best designers I have worked with, and as a result he will now also be consulting on our Paddington home.

Daryl is amazing and exceptionally talented interior designer! We bought a part renovated house in 2014 with two large decks, I had no idea where to start. Daryl helped to come up with a floor plan, vision and furniture selection for the front deck as Phase 1 for the house. It has absolutely transformed the space and I couldn't be more delighted. We went from a bare space to having a large rug, sofas and arm chairs and custom made outdoor cushions, large trunk coffee table, side table, buffet with mirror and plants. It's a beautiful room outdoors that will stand the test of time. Three years later it sparks joy every time I walk in the front deck. More recently we have been working on Phase 2: Living Room again Daryl worked with us to draft an optimal floor plan, colour scheme and furniture selection (custom make sofas, rugs, coffee table, side tables, plants, occasional chair, lamps) working in with some of our existing pieces. We’re absolutely delighted with the outcome, it is unique, unexpected, sophisticated whilst still being practical for young children. Daryl is an absolute pleasure to work with, he is well informed and is happy to share his knowledge and the design theory throughout the process. I have learnt so much about proportions, layout, colour schemes, fabrics etc it’s so inspiring and exciting! He is an approachable down to earth person with impeccable taste and mindful of client’s budget and achieving value for money. He’s a great listener, tactful and determined for the best outcome for the client. A+++

I loved working with Daryl and his team during my recent home renovations of my outdoor and living areas and front entrance. I followed through on all of his recommendations from his initial consultation. He listened to, and understood my brief of relaxed and practical styling, I particularly liked the way he diplomatically suggested back garden storage for my grand children's toys that had begun to overrun my living areas. When choosing furniture and floor coverings he took me to showrooms to select what I wanted but then brought fabric samples to my home which made it so easy. I was also very happy with the additional furniture we selected on line. The tradespeople he recommended were good and punctual. Daryl even came to hang my pictures for me when all the work was finished so the house looked perfect for my daughter's wedding.

Daryl helped us with our internal renovations and his concepts and ideas were original and added immensely to our lifestyle and enjoyment of our home. He is creative and innovative in not only design but also with furnishings for those designs.
