As an interior designer, I believe that the best result I can give you is one that brings you happiness. Your home should not only meet all your practical needs but be a true extension of yourself and your family. It should reflect your personality, your life and your values. Whether your needs are for a major home extension, the design and build of your dream home, a builder developer project or any semi-commercial project, it would be my pleasure to use my expertise to help make the journey as stress-free and inspiring as possible. If it is a renovation project that you wish to undertake, then let me explore all your floor plan possibilities and provide you with design options that will maximise the potential of your space. Working with clients, architects, and builders on new builds and major extensions, are an opportunity for me to develop the best possible floor plan and interiors for you from concept right through to custom joinery, furnishings and fittings. Having studied and worked in various design fields for the last thirty years, I am passionate about all things art and design but my greatest joy is working with people to help them create interiors that bring them joy. Listening to and understanding my clients' aesthetic and financial needs is the starting point but I aim to give my clients so much more. I take immense pride in delivering the best possible results for every project. Commission paintings are another aspect of my business with clients both local and international. All the small details of a project are extremely important to me as are fine workmanship and a quality outcome. While I am based in Melbourne, I travel all over for my clients so would love you to contact me if you are interested in any of my design services or an initial consultation to simply meet me and see if I am the right interior designer for you. When my wife and I decided to build our dream home we decided to seek assistance from a professional interior designer and without a doubt, engaging Jung has been one of the best decisions we have made in this project due to the added value both financially and operationally via better design outcomes and final project value. Jung has a genuine pedantic eye for detail and she was always accomodating and flexible with her time. Jung was able to identify architectural design faults before building commencement and was able to amend and improve the design in advance to allow for a more practical living and functional home. Jung listened to our desired style direction and was able to tailor for our needs and taste with her beautiful designs. I can't recommend Studio Jung enough. Jung has an amazing eye for beauty, balance and awe-inspiring design, while incorporating practicality, clever use of space and budget requirements. Jung came up with a colour and design proposal for the exterior of our boutique townhouses which really brought it up-to-date and no doubt would increase the value of our property. She also drew up a floorplan and designed the interior of our holiday house, overcoming challenges such as a sloping block, tree-covered site, and budget constraints. Above all else, Jung is a dream to work with - always positive, a problem-solver and delivers what she promises in a timely manner. I'd trust Jung to make the design decisions in any future project and would be most happy to just leave her to work her magic!

Our beach house in Blairgowrie was the first of two projects that Jung has worked on with us. The house was initially a very simple 60s beach shack, which had a pretty awkward layout, low ceilings, fake wood panelling, an awful kitchen layout, and not one wall long enough for a sofa to sit against. Our initial concept was just to tidy up a little, and enjoy as is, but after engaging Jung we worked together and she came up with a plan which reconfigured the space and opened it up considerably, to make a much more liveable and enjoyable kitchen/dining area, which opened up onto a great deck and backyard. This has been amazing, not only for us to stay in, but also for the many guests we’ve had rent the house over the last few years. We continually get fantastic reviews about how welcoming and liveable the space is. Jung’s work on the project was fantastic, she took on board our initial ideas and made the space so much better than what we had imagined, but still relaxed and comfortable. We were amazed at how much we were able to achieve on quite a modest budget and are incredibly happy with the result. If we ever plan another renovation we will definitely have Jung work on the design for us, we greatly value her knowledge, attention to detail and passion she puts into every project.

Jung's magical touch ensured we kept the charm of our 1920's Californian Bungalow whilst helping to modernise our house. We have worked with her twice (new kitchen, fireplace feature wall with custom built-in joinery and storage, 2X new bathrooms x 2 and general home improvements around the house such as new floors). Jung was great companion while we were searching for the furniture showing positive attitude at all times.
