Over the last 20+ years we have been working closely with Alternative Kitchens. They have consistently proven to be dedicated to quality design and superior craftsmanship. Their kitchen design abilities and knowledge of the market are second to none. Working with Alternative Kitchens has and always will be a complete pleasure.

I have undertaken numerous renovation projects over the past 12 years in Perth, Australia. These have included kitchen renovations (2), Entertainment room makeovers (2), Major additions, and also landscaping projects all of which were undertaken by appointing professionals for the job. For the most part my experiences have been positive with a few exceptions relating to time and budget overruns but overall I have been happy with results from a variety of tradesmen and contracting firms in this industry. I wanted to point out the above to put my praise of Alternative Kitchens in perspective. I can state with open conscience that Wayne and his team, from first meeting, through design, planning, execution and final handover have been hands-down the best of the best. To me a true measure of professionalism in this business is how unforeseen situations (which we all know are going to occur through nobody's fault) are dealt with. True to form, we did have some interesting challenges of this nature present themselves to us, and although I was consulted, it was a pleasure to hear that Alternative regarded it as their duty to solve, not mine, which they did with minimal effort or cause for concern from my side. True professionals and highly recommended.

Wayne Cook, the owner, brings over 20 years of experience and knowledge to his designs and suggestions, which one would be wise to follow. If you are looking for a customized unique kitchen, Wayne has the positive attitude that they can achieve what you are looking for. He listens to your personal likes/dislikes and will professionally guide you around impracticalities to maximize the potential of the space you have to work with. The use of double drawers and under cupboard drawers are just an example. Once the design has been decided, Alternative Kitchens run to plan. They have a schedule that they follow and constantly keep the owner informed of any delays or early finish dates, which do happen with Wayne. As for working within a budget, Alternative Kitchens will adjust to the parameters set by the owner and stick to it. Having had my kitchen renovated by Alternative Kitchens, I would never go with anyone else, as I found their high level of workmanship second to none and I appreciated Wayne's perfectionist tendencies which pervaded to the smallest detail. Wayne made sure that I was happy with the finished product and altered a few cupboards and doors after completion because I had changed my mind just to make sure. What a difference that approach makes to the whole experience. I have the highest recommendation for Alternative Kitchens.
