I highly recommend Julie Godfrey. I engaged Julie to work with me on a home renovation which included a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, updating the laundry, refurbishing the front and back decks, polishing the floorboards and painting the house - inside and out. I had met with two designers before I found Julie but did not feel they were listening to me - and they were very expensive. The decision to engage Julie was easy as she took the time to get to know us, how we live in our home, what we were trying to achieve with our renovation and how we could achieve this within our budget. Julie helped with the layout of the new kitchen and bathrooms, she suggested tiles, cabinetry and paint colours, wallpapers, lighting, benchtops, and all the bathroom, kitchen and laundry fittings. The 3D room designs/layouts she provided made it easy for me to understand what the rooms were going to look like, and why Julie was recommended the positioning of light switches, power points and other elements of the room. Julie is very easy to work with. She is very responsive and cares about her clients and the outcome of her projects. Julie has a terrific eye for colours, layouts and design, and is focused on quality and managing the project within agreed timeframes and budgets. I extended my engagement with Julie to help me find the right outdoor furniture and revamp the furniture and floor coverings for the study. Julie delivers real value for money. We are extremely happy with the result of our renovation. I will definitely be engaging Julie again when we do further work.

Julie helped us renovate our ensuite and main bathroom. My partner is very particular with her style and she was left with no words when Julie came up with her design board and recommendations. This is rare. Her eye for detail and ability to listen to our needs was spot on. Add that to her glowing personality and you will not find better. We are already pushing ahead with Julie to design our kitchen reno.

Julie and her team did an excellent job on our house specially successfully managed making good progress even during the very difficult time through the lockdown, shipment delays and other unexpected issues. we wouldn’t be able to complete the job without her professional service and we will continue to work with her in the future for sure.

I am thrilled with Julie from MontClaire Interior's work on our home! We engaged her to transform a lounge room, master bedroom, hallway with staircase, family room and part of a kitchen. From the first moment she saw the spaces, she had amazing ideas that made us rethink our original plans - for the better! She has a lovely way of making suggestions and respecting your choices. However we chose to put our trust in her expertise and were glad we did. She put together a concept that tied all of our home together in subtle ways while retaining the individuality of every room. I love how she looked for items that were slightly different and ahead of current trends but were still timeless and practical (even with kids). She has such a great eye for colour, shapes, texture and detail. I fell in love with pretty much everything she recommended! The finished spaces look so stylish and beautiful, exceeding my expectations, though are still comfortable and liveable. We are even using the family room so much more than we anticipated.
