Arena Design Architects were a great choice for our renovation project. Colin really listened to our needs, vision and our budget. His creative ideas and detailed design documentation took our home to the next level! The project ran smoothly and we absolutely love the end result.

Colin is one of those rare breeds of Architect who works to the client's brief and needs rather than to his own ego. Colin and the team at Arena Design Architects met all of the brief requirements resulting in an environmental and sustainable building showpiece for the Orange region. Colin's attention to detail, regular site attendance prior to and during construction and ease of working with multiple contractors and students helped make the building of this structure an actual learning experience for TAFE pre-apprentice construction students. The Environmental Learning Facility is a meeting place used by community and professional groups that love the surrounding showground activities and features nestled in a functioning Permaculture Garden showcasing how recycled product and alternative building methods can be employed in either a domestic or commercially functioning living space.

Colin Brown at Arena Design Architects is a pleasure to deal with. From initial meeting through design concept to final plans and calling Tenders, all went very smoothly. The old adage that proper planning prevents poor performance rang true. Detail is everything and Colin was across all of it. Additionally, his Design was both sophisticated elegant and functional.

I found Colin a real pleasure to work with. We talked through many design iterations during the development process and together came up with a plan that worked for me and suited the style of my Federation house. Colin's attention to detail and close working relationship with the builders also paid dividends. I am very pleased with the end product resulting in a home that is so much more livable than before.
