The Monastery Furniture is a family owned business established in 1982. We provide a wide range of quality furniture which is manufactured locally by a cabinetmaker with over 30 years experience. Our styles range from old rustic to contemporary and include French provincial and English regency themes. We are always striving to develop and improve our designs without compromising quality or functionality. Our speciality is custom made furniture and we have produced many bespoke pieces over the years. We endeavour to create furniture to suit your needs and are open to your design ideas. Our solid timber furniture has proved quite popular with a wide range of timbers to choose from. Please check out our Timber section for more information. For the more budget conscious customer we offer furniture made with alternative materials whilst still retaining a great look with solid construction. These are certainly a far better quality than the foreign imports available. We apply various coatings to our furniture depending on the material used. These finishes range from fully painted/distressed to clear coat the choice is yours.
