What to do with wall space above vanity?

Hi Everyone,
We have a hideous bathroom but decided to delay renovation of it until THIS MONTH!

See previous thread here: https://www.houzz.com.au/discussions/hideous-bathroom-im-sure-theres-potential-there-somewhere-dsvw-vd~473230

Basically, the shower and vanity and medicine cabinet will be replaced but the positions will remain the same. This means that when you are using the taps, the mirror will be reflecting your left ear, until you swivel.

Above the vanity now there are some chest-height mirror tiles, which will obviously be removed and discarded gleefully. Large white matt tiles will go from floor to windowsill on the vanity wall. Above the bath on the same wall, I plan to have a luggage rack on which folded towels can be stored, as well as at least one towel hung to dry.

I would like your input on the following:
What would you do with the wall space below the windowsill? Just leave it as blank tiles?
Cupboard without a mirror? Shelf (but how to consider harmony with a luggage rack nearby)? Other ideas?

Thanks,
Auslo
