Is it made of concrete? It looks like it has been boxed and poured. If it is concrete, could you please tell us whether you have used any colour / tint or added anything to the concrete? Thank you.
Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. This fireplace chimney visually extends from the lower level, through the main level and out, above the roof. What you see in this photo is board formed concrete. No color was used, just the shadows that are created by the texture and organic imperfection of the formwork. Thanks again.
Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. As previously noted, this fireplace is wrapped in board formed concrete. It was poured in true board forms in several lifts, forming a solid "box" from the lower level below all the way to the roof above (two full stories). Thanks again.
