Great colour choices! I agree to go with the grey rug, but you can use the yellow as a subtle highlight colour in the design. You have a lot going on texture-wise so I'd probably keep it simple in terms of rug texture or there'll be too much going on at once. Warm would do well in this room though, so that's good! You mention it's away from the light outdoor area, is this photo an accurate representation of the lighting you normally get in this room? So in summary, you might want to have a look at rugs that don't have much texture, and are a bit brighter in colour to help brighten up the room. Below are just a couple of examples of rugs that could work, and one more neutral example.

Hi Jayrees, I totally agree with what Kat had to offer, I would suggest a non geometric pattern on the rug as the floor is already geometric, a light colour and subtle pattern if you prefer a pattern. The mirror should definitely be moved and I would consider a large light print to compliment the new rug and and drapes. It's a pity that the window screen blocks the view (it's a nice view) but the heavy screen is a necessity these days, I would remove the stickers from the glass to help with the openness. Just noticed that you have an air con in the room so you may be able to remove the screen.

Agree with above comments - large rug, darker colours to balance the beige. And I also think the art work is too small and too high. However if you are attached to these pieces they could be hung together on one wall, lower, maybe re-framed in similar frames to give them cohesion (black to match your new cushions?). This would create the effect of a larger art piece. (The centre of your art should be at average eye height - and in that room you are sitting so eye height is lower!)
