Picture framers are really skilled at helping you choose your frames, it does cost to have framing done but if you love your paintings ..so worth it. They can show you different frames and what brings your art to life.

I wonder if a piece in landscape rather then portrait format would suit the space better. I think a white frame over the fireplace would look better. A mirror would also look nice and the colour could be introduced in other ways in the room.

We are hoping to renovate downstairs later in the year, so I'm not sure yet where they shall go yet. At the moment next to the stairs, which is a wrap around with double height ceiling.
