I personally think that the painting would go beautifully with a sofa like the one pictured. There are a lot of earth tones in the painting that will pick up in the tones of the sofa. I wouldn't go for a "flat" coloured sofa, instead go for something with a bit of texture like the Tobacco sofa you have pictured. Have your cushions reflect some of the colours in the painting but just be careful or it could end up looking busy. Judging by the pictures you have chose, it looks like you are on the right track. How much laundry do you do? For example, I have kids, so cupboards would need to be very accessible. But if you mostly do it on the weekends and yuo have somewhere for storing the dirty washing, then cupboard laundry sounds like a great use of space. What about noise? Will that be a problem with the open living space? Sometimes when the fridge hums, the dishwasher whirls and swishes and the washing machine spins, we have rouble hearing the to at night! Another option could be to stick it in the garage at the back wall, and place shelving all around. Stuff doesn't have to be perfect! And a spot of paint could make it bright!

Not sure how it comes up in vinyl planks but i chose spotted gum ( Quickstep Readyflor) and am thrilled with the look. The large range of colours through the floors means it suits a range of timbers and furnishing colours. Good luck with your choosing

assuming all the necessary approvals and accurate dimensions my suggestions have minimal wall removal and plumbing changes for 3 living areas, 6 bedrooms, 4-5 bathooms, WIP and, multi family bathroom sharing with or without the extra downstairs guest bathroom...the new laundry includes a chute from upstairs plus hallway for pool change room and access to bathroom and backyard....there's space for extra-large dining tables plus kitchen meals area and servery for the barbq alfresco but, some windows need moving and consider external windows shutters for sunscreening, upgrading all insulation and a pergola covered area to shade and extend backyard seating area overlooking the pool?
