Can’t think of anything more disgusting than carpet in a bathroom. Impossible to keep clean and dry, particularly with a toilet in the bathroom. There is huge range of bathmats available to keep your feet warm that you can just throw in the washing machine or even timber mats you can wipe clean

I love those long floorboards/wood-look tiles and they are the feature so you wouldn't want something too busy on the walls... personally I would go with a larger format say 300x600 rectified edge white tile with a matt finish for the Hamptons look... what's your vanity?... a timber one would tie in nicely with the floors and all the white... very Hamptons :)

Hi Suneiah I had new doors, side panels and shelves made for the existing vanities. Fortunately the new doors and panels have not subsequently been affected by moisture. I also changed the tapware to something a little sleeker and ergonomically better, and painted the rooms. However, I left the vanities in place because I really wasn't up to the task of pulling out the bathrooms at the time (for many reasons: mainly the mess and also all of the strata processes I would have needed to attend to. Suneiah - I wish you all the best for whatever changes you decide to make to your bathroom(s).
