Turquoise, purples and greens are a fabulous combination. Keep your furniture neutral - grey or white will offset these colours better - so it is transportable when you are renting and bring the colour in with accessories. The only consideration is the aspect of your rooms - purple/mauve is a cold colour and can give the room an uninviting look, in which case you will need to add more of the blues and greens to cheer it up.

Hi, I recommend that you add two pot plants to your house. to accentuate the coastal look, add potted palm trees, preferably between the dining table and the half wall separating the kitchen from the dining area. Secondly between the two sofa sets in the third photo. Also, let the plant overshadow the pot not vice versa. add some colorful wall hangings too, they could be framed art works or beautiful ornaments.

Hi Tania, Congratulations on getting this far, It can be so baffling to take a project on by yourself, furnishings and design. I believe a monochromatic colour scheme is always interesting when pairing black, greys and whites with different textures. Black is one of the few colours that actually matches with everything, It is the most versatile of colours. Any style, including scandinavian, industrial contemporary or mid-century modern can incorporate black into the colour scheme so whatever style you choose will work fantastic and timelessly. Hi Lisa, thanks very much for your comment. I see you are in Melbourne though, and this apartment and the company we used are in Sydney. ThermoGlaze are a company who are in Victoria as well as other states. I know they definitely do floors as well as walls. I hope this helps.
