Most door companies stock what you are looking for.

When choosing a front door just don't consider the door, but the whole door frame. Often sidelight and highlight windows can contribute to the appeal of the entry, and bring lots of light into your entry hall, even when your door is closed. You will also need to consider the proportion of the door width to the height. I think that a standard 820mm wide door that is 2700mm high looks too skinny. If you are going for a high door then it should be proportionally wider. Here is a photo of a custom made timber door that is 3 metres tall, and 1.2m wide in Blackbutt which weights 130kgs. When you get to this size and weight then you need to consider the hinging carefully. The door was crafted and installed by Dr Retro's friends at Sawdust Timber Furniture. Expensive, but worth every dollar as it makes such a great impression.

Selling a second-hand door can be quite tricky as not all doors are the same size in width, height and thickness. The market is limited to those who are happy to make a custom frame for it as it is likely that it won't fit into a standard door frame. Despite the craftsmanship I would not expect top dollar, and would let the market decide via auction, such as Ebay. Such a pity as it has so much character, is such a conversation piece, and is not a generic door. Best of luck, Dr Retro of Dr Retro House Calls

Hi all, We have a 2340mm high x 1200 wide solid Rosewood pivot entry door (with clear stain) installed in our three year old home. The door is pretty well protected by a generous overhang. However, I have noticed that the sweep / sill has started to become discoloured. It basically looks "dried out". Do we just need to "oil" that area? Or apply some other kind of coating? If so, any suggestions as to the type of oil / coating would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
