I am clearly in the minority, but its a no for me- the gorgeous brick walls, doorway, character all lost - I think that a lighter touch would have given a much more tasteful, interesting and less generic result and allowed some of the house’s heritage to peek through a modern update. if the owners are happy though, that is what matters, their house, not mine

I liked the old kitchen - there was a lot of character in it The mural was especially interesting - very tropical to suit the outside view

Yes, you can include wooden elements into the room and it will look classy plus adding a dining table would also make sense. Your idea of bar stools is apt for the room. For the living room, you can add the rugs and also invest in a couch. I will also suggest that you can decorate the wall with any artwork or maybe with a wall clock or an antique clock. Wall clock will work perfectly for the living room.

Hi an68888 I think I understand your question. Any kitchen manufacturer that custom makes cabinetry near you will tint your Polyurethane to any colour your heart desires. In choosing this colour, you may like to start by going to your local paint store and picking up some colour charts from various different brands to get an idea of options available. With the tone of Bottega Oak (obviously without grain) perhaps look along the lines of the colour Anthracite. Hope this helps, Malcolm.
