It would probably look better if they were a similar style. I think Methven have both taps in the same style, one has a hose the other doesn't. They also have a 15 year warranty. The cheapy taps don't last very long either.

Have you tried googling reviews online?

I have one in my kitchen and pretty much exactly the same tap in my laundry. I found it got in the way, or I'm too uncoordinated to use it without making a mess. I have turned my base bit where the lever attaches so that it's at the right hand side. I'm right handed and find it easier to reach the side of the tap to turn off and on. When I'm cleaning and trying to make things look neat, I can turn the base so the lever is back to the front of the tap.

Personally I would always go for a consistent style throughout the house if at all possible. Expensive if you have to make a lot of changes to achieve it. I guess it comes down to how much it bothers you.
